For woodwind and brass students, only one audition is necessary for the Berkshire Symphony, Wind Ensembles, Brass Ensemble, and chamber music ensembles. For the Berkshire Symphony and chamber music ensembles, the audition is for membership/placement; for Wind Ensemble, Brass Ensemble and Student Symphony, the audition is for seating purposes only.
Each student should prepare approximately 5-10 minutes of music from standard orchestral repertory. Bring something lyrical and something technical that highlights your best playing. There will be no sight reading or scales asked during the audition.
Online signup available to Williams students. You must be signed on to your Williams account to gain access.
