Williams Chamber Players features great works performed by outstanding music faculty.

Williams Chamber Players first offers Turina’s Piano Quartet in A Minor, op. 67 performed by Joanna Kurkowicz, violin, Ah Ling Neu, viola, Julian Müller, cello, and Doris Stevenson, piano.

Joanna Kurkowicz, violin, Matt Gold, percussion, and Doris Stevenson, piano present Somei Satoh’s Toki No Mon  A Gate into Infinity (1988).

After a short intermission the ensemble performs Sextet in C Major op. 37 for horn, clarinet, strings, and piano by Dohnanyi, as interpreted by Joana Genova, violin, Ah Ling Neu, viola, Julian Müller, cello, Victor Sungarian, horn, Michael Dee, clarinet, and Drew Petersen, piano.

The Williams Chamber Players is a faculty chamber ensemble that presents concerts for the college and community throughout the academic year. Repertoire for concerts is drawn from the standard chamber music with special attention to music of the 20th and 21st centuries, and to music by Williams composers. Musicians are normally drawn from the ranks of artists in residence, artist associates, and other faculty members and visiting artists at Williams.

The Williams Chamber Players was founded in 1999 and is coordinated by Doris Stevenson.
