Virtual info session on funding your ideas for reducing Williams' carbon emissions
Wed, November 6th, 2024
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
- This event has passed.

In 2023-24 the college began to arbitrage its renewable energy certificates from the Farmington, Maine solar PV facility with Green-e certified certificates from dirtier grid regions (you can read more about the program here). An integral part of the program is to use the net revenue generated to fund additional climate-beneficial projects on campus. Last year we selected several sustainable landscaping projects and one fleet vehicle electrification proposal.
We are now seeking new ideas and invite you to hear about the program, share your ideas, perhaps find partners to develop your proposal with, and discuss the steps that will lead from your idea to funding and implementing it. Students, faculty and staff are all welcome to our info session.
So join us, virtually, on November 6, 3-4pm at meet.google.com/tai-rvyr-nmj.
