Join Lehman and the Zilkha Center for a morning of community service at some of our beautiful local farms on Saturday, October 26th to finish up the Zilkha Center’s Food Justice Week. Sign up here to support these local farmers and get to know some of the people who produce our food!

Our farms:

Cricket Creek Farm – This small, grass-based cow dairy farm produces 7 different artisanal farmstead cheeses, grass-fed beef, and much more! Their mission is to “produce nourishing food that honors our animals, respects the land, and feeds our community, and to exemplify a sustainable model for small-farm viability.”

Full Well Farm – Owned by two women, this farm grows fresh vegetables, herbs, and flowers using sustainable, no-till practices. Full Well’s mission is to “build a farm that is resilient to the problems presented by climate change and that actively supports the long-term health of our farm’s ecosystem from day one.”

Red Shirt Farm – This Williams alumni-owned farm is a pesticide and herbicide-free vegetable farm and pasture-raised animal farm with chickens, turkeys, and pigs.

Sweet Brook Farm – After facing a devastating fire last February, this family-owned alpaca and maple syrup farm has begun raising grass-fed, pasture, sustainable beef.
