Tropical Marine Conservation: Travel Winter Study Info Session Sept. 23, 7 pm

Conduct marine field research in this interdisciplinary experiential class, which will participate in several ongoing marine biological research projects at an institute in the Bahamas. All the projects have conservation implications and human impacts. Students will learn field skills, survey techniques, microscopy, handling of marine organisms, and species-specific techniques. Class open to sophomore, juniors and seniors with preference to BIOL and ENVI majors; must have completed at least one lab Bio class by end of fall 2019 to apply.   Attend info session to learn how to apply.
