Please join Adrie Kusserow, Professor and Chair of Anthropology at Saint Michael’s College, for a reading from her book, The Trauma Mantras, on Monday, March 4th at 7 p.m. in Sawyer Reading Room.
Kusserow is a poet & medical anthropologist whose work offers an ‘unflinching view’ of Western approaches to the self and suffering within humanitarian projects and refugee crises in Bhutan, Nepal, Uganda, India, South Sudan, and the US.
A reception with light refreshments will follow. All are welcome!
