Lecture by Ruth Ndyabahika on Monday, October 15, at 4:15 p.m. Schapiro 141. Ndyabahika is the founder and director of Grace Villa, a home for orphans, abandoned and abused girls in Kabale, Western Uganda. She is an early childhood development specialist who studied and worked in Boston for two decades, before returning home to Uganda to create a home and sanctuary in her hometown. Today she lives at Grace Villa with 24 girls, and supports over 215 children in the community with nurture, an education, health care, mentoring, advocacy, sports and vocational skills. We have visited Grace Villa in the past with WSP groups, and will discuss continuing partnership.
