Liberal pundit and political analyst Bill Scher is coming to Williams to discuss the recent midterms and what they mean for the next congressional session and 2020. Scher argues that we are in a fluid moment of political history and that what it means to be a conservative or a democrat is changing before our eyes.
Bill Scher is a Contributing Editor to Politico Magazine and a Contributor to Real Clear Politics. He is the host of the New Books in Politics podcast for the New Books Network, and co-host of “The DMZ,” a Bloggingheads.tv online show and podcast, with conservative writer Matt Lewis. In 2006, he authored the book “Wait, Don’t Move To Canada: A Stay-and-Fight Strategy To Win Back America,” which later became an answer on “Jeopardy!” He a graduate of Oberlin College, where he wrote for the campus magazine “The Oberlin Forum” under Editor-in-Chief, Michelle Maglalang, who is now better known as Michelle Malkin.
