Want to explore the possibility of getting a PhD in economics, sharpen your math and economics skills, gain economics research experience, work alongside prominent professors and develop career-long networks and mentoring relationships? Join us virtually to learn more about the American Economic Association Summer Training Program (https://www.aeaweb.org/about-aea/committees/aeasp) from two Williams College alumni who have participated: Marianna Rodriguez (AEASP ’17; Williams ’19) and Arkey Barnett (AEASP ’18; Williams ’19). They will discuss their experiences and takeaways from the program and answer questions from attendees. All are welcome, though the AEASP particularly seeks students from under-represented groups. For more information, please contact Professor Sarah Jacobson, firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will share a recording of the panel in the econ department newsletter the next week.
