Solving Classical Problems in Number Theory Using Modern Techniques by Prof. Eva Goedhart, Mathematics Colloquium
Abstract: After a brief introduction to Diophantus and the equations named after him, I will present my work on solving a family of Diophantine equations using the modular approach, a technique developed from the proof of the famous Fermat’s Last Theorem.
