Reading and Q&A: Dominicana

Angie Cruz is an Assistant Professor of English at the University of Pittsburgh and is the author of two novels, Soledad and Let It Rain Coffee, a finalist in 2007 for the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award. She has published her work in Gulf Coast,  Callaloo, Virginia Quarterly Review, The New York Times, and Miami Rail. She has been awarded the Camargo Fellowship, National Association of Latino Arts and Culture Grant, Pittsburgh Foundation of The Arts Fellowship, Ledig House, Yaddo, and The Macdowell Colony. She is founder and Editor of Aster(ix), a literary/arts journal. Her third novel Dominicana is currently under submission and another, Il Palazzo, is forthcoming in 2019 with Unnamed Press.
