Muffy Davis (a white queer feminist writer, wellness coach, and weightlifter) will speak on the concept of radical health.
Author of the graphic novel, Ink in Water, about her recovery from an eating disorder, Davis is an advocate for health at every size, intuitive eating, and total body liberation. A blogger and podcaster, she is also the founder/owner of Liberation Barbell, a queer feminist gym in Portland, Oregon. Liberation Barbell is for queer folks, trans folks and people of all sizes. We are here for intersectional feminists, people of color, vegans, artists, parents, weirdos, punks and book nerds. We are here for those in recovery, those who want to lift without weight loss talk and for anyone that has ever felt like the gym is not for them, simply because of who they are.”  Copies of Ink in Water will be available for sale after the talk; Muffy will be happy to sign books.

On Wednesday, November 14 at noon in CET 276, Muffy will speak on “Podcasting 101: Producing Great Content without Spending a Ton of Cash.” (Bring a Mac laptop, if you have one.)

On Wednesday, November 14 at 4 pm, Muffy will host a weightlifting session. Spaces are limited. Email ccleghorn@williams.edu to reserve a space.
