All are invited to a public talk by Zen Master Jok Um (Ken Kessel, Williams ’74) on the use of kong-ans (koans) in the Kwan Um School of Zen. The talk is scheduled for 7pm, Monday 9/30, in Griffin Hall 3. This lecture is being organized as part of a course (ENGL 239, “Zen and the Art of American Literature”) but is open to the public. All are welcome!
