Psychology Dept. Class of '60s Scholars Speaker - Pete Ditto, University of California - Irvine

Pete Ditto, Professor of Psychological Science in the School of Social Ecology at the University of California, Irvine, will present  “Through the Partisan Looking Glass: The Social Psychology of Political Polarization,” on Wednesday, March 3, at 4 p.m.

Prof. Ditto is a social psychologist who is interested in “hot cognition” — the interface between passion and reason.  His research examines the role of motivation, emotion and intuition in social, political, moral, medical, and legal judgment.
