Mathematics Colloquium

Abstract:  The Nicholson-Bailey Model is a discrete time model used to study the interactions of a host parasitoid system, presented by Nicholson and Bailey in the 1930s.  This colloquium will investigate population dynamics of the NB model, and then extend the model to include density dependence, a primary stabilizing feature. I t will be accompanied by graphical representations of specific parameters.
