You are cordially invited to attend a lecture by guest speaker, Professor Will Dudley ’89, he will present, “What Is ‘Higher Education’?” on Tuesday, November 19th at 4:30 pm, Griffin 3.

Professor Dudley, a 1989 Philosophy and Mathematics major at Williams College, is currently president of Washington and Lee University.  Dudley was professor of Philosophy at Williams from 1998 to 2016, and Provost at Williams from 2011 to 2016.  He is the author of Hegel, Nietzsche and Philosophy:  Thinking Freedom and Understanding German Idealism.

The event is free and open to the public.
