The Dish. A brunch and conversation with two theatre makers: Shadi Ghaheri is a theatre director and choreographer from Iran, based in New York City, and Cat Rodriguez is a dramaturg.
Theater makers turned hosts Shadi Ghaheri (Iran) and Catherine María Rodríguez (US/Nicaragua) serve up their thoughts on a sampling of topics, from dismantling rehearsal room hierarchies and WOC-informed approaches in collaboration to the triangulated relationships between politics and critique, culture-making practices and artistic responsibility. A dynamic, candid, and interactive conversation with two arts practitioners making a new way their own.
This event is part of the yearlong lecture series Performative Ethics: Embodied Representation in the Commons.
This free event is open to all.
