A panel of faculty, staff, and students join Dr. Dorceta Taylor to discuss their experiences in environmental careers. Dr. Taylor (James E. Crowfoot Collegiate Professor at the University of Michigan) is the author of numerous books on environmental justice and environmental sociology whose research interests include sustainable agriculture; food access and food insecurity; social movement analysis; and institutional diversity. She is the lead author of the 2014 national report, The State of Diversity in Environmental Organizations: Mainstream NGOs, Foundations, and Government Agencies. The event will be held in Griffin 3 from 4:30-6:30 PM and there will be Q&A following the panel.
