Have you ever wanted to view the night sky through a telescope at our observatory? This is your chance! Join us at the observatory on top of Thompson Physics (not the historic observatory along Rt 2) between 9:30pm and 10:30pm on Thursday June 1st. Mars, Venus, and the Moon are all nice and bright, and we might even look at a supernova.
The observatory is located on the fourth floor of the Thompson Physics building, and is accessible from the eastern staircase (facing the parking lot next to the building). The elevator next to the Eco Cafe can get you to the third floor, with one remaining flight of stairs up to the observatory. The event is weather permitting; check @williamsastronomy on Instagram for last minute updates. Contact Kevin Flaherty (kmf4) with any questions.
