- This event has passed.

Join the Native American Students Association and students from HIST 276: Stockbridge-Munsee Mohican Community Histories, Presents, and Futures for an event featuring Native voices in film. We will screen two short films by Rodrigo Valdiviezo-Salazar (‘23), which locate solidarity between Andean and North American Indigenous cultures and struggle, and which discuss land recognition and the paving over of sacred sites locally.
The screenings will be followed by a discussion on the college’s colonial actions and the ongoing work toward land recognition and restitution. This event will also serve as a kickoff for a film festival featuring Native producers, directors, and actors to be screened at Images in November 2023.
The event starts at 4pm on May 11 in Hollander 241. Food from Spring Street Market will be served!
