Drum circles in the desert, stories from a High Atlas mountain guide, roosters and motorcycles waking up the medina of Rabat… Tales They Told Me: Moroccois a living scrapbook of Rodriguez’s unforgettable trip to Morocco this Winter Study. Combining audio elements and live actors onstage, this theatrical experiment explores the way sound triggers memory, and how a story can be the glue that holds memories of people and places together. Tales They Told Me: Morocco is the first part of a joint venture between Michelle Rodriguez ’12 and Meghan Rose Donnelly ’11 to explore and share stories and the way we process them.
