The Nash Bargaining Solution: Finding Game Theory Equilibrium in Bargaining Problems by Alexander Kitt ’21, Mathematics Colloquium, Tuesday, March 2, 1:30 – 2:15 pm, talk can be accessed through the Mathematics Colloquium Glow page
Abstract: If two people are given a pizza, how should they agree to split it? This presentation will focus on the intuition and mathematical justification of John Nash’s solution to a two person bargaining game. We will also touch on concepts of fairness and examine how the Nash Bargaining Solution fares in an experimental study.
