Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2022: Black Lives Matter in a Climate Change

Please join the Black Students Union, Community Engagement Fellows, Davis Center, Africana Studies, Center for Environmental Studies, Williams Environmental Council, Zilkha Center, and Sustainable Living Lab in Baxter on Monday the 17th for special, interactive programming discussing different aspects of the intersection of social and environmental justice.  Additionally, the Gospel Choir will be performing. This event is open for students, faculty, and staff and will happen from 12-1:30pm.

In addition to this special program, there will be a keynote webinar with Environmental Justice advocate Wawa Gatheru on Tuesday the 18th of January at 7pm.  Please write Aseel at AA9 for the link for this event.

There will be further programming throughout the semester including a screening of the film, “Come Hell or High Water: the Battle for Turkey Creek,” in April.
