Log Lunch is the weekly local food vegetarian lunch and speaker program hosted by the Center for Environmental Studies. All are invited! Online reservations are required at: ces.williams.edu.  Lunch is $3 and the program is at The Log, 78 Spring Street from 12-1.

Tom Daniels is well-known as one of the leading thinkers and practitioners of farmland preservation. He directs the Program in Land Use and Planning at the University of Pennsylvania.  He previously managed the nationally-famous farmland preservation program in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where he lives. For many years, Tom was a Senior Contributing Editor for Farmland Preservation Report, a national newsletter. In addition, Tom co-authored Holding Our Ground: Protecting America’s Farms and Farmland (Island Press, 1997). He recently published a book on the law of farmland preservation for the American Bar Association, The Law of Agricultural Land Preservation in the United States.
