Log Lunch: “Black as Drought” Brittany Meche, Gaius Bolin Fellow, Environmental Studies

Brittany Meché is a Bolin fellow in Environmental Studies. For two years, she will work on completing her dissertation while also teaching an academic course. Her dissertation is titled “Securing the Sahel: Nature, Catastrophe, and the Empire of Expertise.”

Log Lunch is the weekly Environmental Studies vegetarian lunch & speaker series hosted by the Center for Environmental Studies.  Student chefs prepare a locally-grown meal, served buffet style, at noon, followed by a half hour environmental talk.
