In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Office of Sexual Assault Prevention & Response is hosting a workshop about partner abuse in LGBQTI+ communities. The workshop will discuss dynamics of abuse, how to identify signs and tactics of abuse, and unique ways that LGBQTI+ people experience abuse. We will also discuss how LGBQTI+ people might experience relationship abuse at Williams and what you can do to support a survivor.

Allies are welcome to attend, but keep in mind that the event is intended to center LGBQTI+ experiences and voices. For those who are interested in a more general workshop about partner abuse in all communities, stay tuned for info about a Partner Abuse 101 workshop on 10/24 that is open to all.

The workshop is on Tuesday, Oct 16 at 7pm in Goodrich 207. Questions? Contact the Violence Prevention Coordinator, Hannah Lipstein, at hbl1@williams.edu.
