I/O Fest - All Ears

All Ears is a free, one-hour event at which kids and their families can discover new sounds and create live music with students and faculty from Williams College. The young musicians explore the hidden sounds in everyday objects and in uncover the strange, wonderful noises in the instruments of the orchestra. Open your ears to the sounds all around us, and be prepared to make some noise! Presented by I/O Fest, Ephs Out Loud, and the Williams College Department of Music.

Held each January in the '62 Center for Theatre and Dance, the annual I/O Festival of New Music immerses audiences in the full spectrum of today's most vital compositional trends. Over three days of new and adventurous music, the festival presents guest artists, the I/O Ensemble, and the student-run IOTA Ensemble in concert programs and additional events in unconventional public settings. I/O invites audiences to open their ears and minds and experience the music of now.
