Students of Joanna Kurkowicz

The Williams College Department of Music presents an end of semester instructor recital of violin students on Wednesday, April 30, at 7:00 p.m. in Brooks-Rogers Recital Hall on the Williams College campus. This free event is open to the public.

This evening of music will highlight students under the tutelage of Joanna Kurkowicz, Artist in Residence in Violin.

The program will include Leo Brown ‘11 and Noah Fields ’11 playing Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante in E-flat Major for Violin and Viola; Teng Jian Khoo ’09 playing Elgar’s Violin Sonata in E Minor, opus 82; and Colleen Farrell ’10 playing Beethoven’s Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 5 in F Major, “Spring” and Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1 in G Minor, op. 26. Noah Lindquist ’08, Yvette Wang ’09, Elizabeth Schwartzman ’08 and Brian Simalchik ’10 will provide piano accompaniment.
