10:30 PM After Hours – CenterStage Theatre: COMING TOGETHER

Bad Planets performs late night music to wake you up. Soul stirring works by Frederic Rzewski, Anthony Braxton, and Charles Mingus, and meditations by Pauline Oliveros.

Held each January in the ’62 Center for Theatre and Dance, the annual I/O Festival of New Music immerses audiences in the full spectrum of today’s most vital compositional trends. Over three days of new and adventurous music, the festival presents guest artists, the I/O Ensemble, and the student-run IOTA Ensemble in concert programs and additional events in unconventional public settings. I/O invites audiences to open their ears and minds and experience the music of now.
