Abstract: You are offered the chance to make a little money. I will give you p dollars, and all you need to do is guess a number between 1 – n. Each guess costs a dollar, and I will tell you higher or lower for every guess. In this talk, we will discuss how to determine the fairness of the game, and when it is advantageous for you to play it. We will learn for which values of p and n you should agree to play my game to make money, and which you should avoid.
