Help Translate for ICE Detainees in Albany

Hundreds of migrants have been detained by ICE and are now being housed in the Albany County Jail, and the legal project there is overwhelmed. They need interpreters of all languages: Spanish, French, Hindi, Punjabi, any Mayan languages, Mandarin, Polish, Russian — you name it, they can probably use it. If you speak another language and could volunteer your time, please contact Christina Armistead, carmistead@lsu.edu.
