Green’s Functions & Quantum Mechanics by Ashraf Dhahbi ’23, Mathematics Colloquium, Wednesday, February 8, 1 – 1:45 pm, North Science Building 113, Wachenheim.
Abstract: What are Green’s function and how powerful are they?
In this talk I will first introduce Green’s functions, then establish some quantum mechanics background so we can see some applications of Green’s functions in quantum mechanics. I will then use Green’s functions to solve the time independent and the time dependent Schrodinger equations.
