German-Austrian Filmfest 2018: Power / Frauen: Women and Power

The second film in the 2018 German-Austrian Film Festival is Toni Erdmann (2015) by Maren Ade. The director states, “Ines is a contemporary female character. She started out convinced that self-determination and equality were things women of her generation could take for granted so that she had no need for feminism.” Then, her story unfolds.
