The Department of German and Russian is celebrating this Fall the 10th Annual German-Austrian Film Festival. This year, the film series explores the theme of “Metamorphosis” in contemporary German-speaking cinema. Free admission; English sub-titles.
The three selected movies address metamorphosis from different angles:

A female painter’s struggle to radically transform her art and the male-dominated art world.
Followed by Q&A with film director, Anja Salomonowitz.
