Abstract: This talk touches on the historical importance of the Nash Equilibrium across mathematics, economics, and philosophy, and works iteratively to prove the Nash equilibrium in the general case. Leveraging Brouwer’s Fixed-Point theorem, we note the importance of topology in proving a largely applicatory theorem in Nash.
