Pierre-Richard Agénor is the Hallsworth Professor of International Macroeconomics and Development Economics at the University of Manchester. He is a speaker at the CDE Gender and Development Conference, presenting on “Gender Equality and Economic Growth: Some Theoretical Developments and Policy Implications.” He has published a large number of articles in leading professional journals on a wide range of issues, related notably to international macroeconomics, development economics, growth theory, labour economics, poverty analysis, and gender equality.
