A talk with Iraqi food writer Nawal Nasrallah on the history and culture of food in the Middle East.

Nasrallah is the author of the definitive cookbook on Iraqi cuisine and is a contributor to artist Michael Rakowitz’s 2019 cookbook titled A House with a Date Palm Will Never Starve. This program is presented in conjunction with the exhibition The invisible enemy should not exist (Room Z, Northwest Palace of Nimrud).

A reception and tasting will follow the talk.
