Data Science at Showtime Networks

Friday 11-11:50am in Griffen 6: Josh McNutt is the founding member and head of the first ever data science team at Showtime Networks Inc. His team was formed to build a robust analytics capability that transforms billions of subscriber data points into actionable machine learning models, analytical products and consumer insights to support data-driven decision making in every corner of Showtimeâs subscription business. Prior to joining Showtime, he worked as a data scientist in a wide variety of organizations including a hedge fund, a professional sports league, a consumer bank, and a cybersecurity research team. Josh earned his Master’s in Statistics from Carnegie Mellon after graduating from Williams College in 1999 with a degree in Economics. If interested in joining us for lunch, email sjm1@williams.edu.
