Dance Masterclass: Flamenco with Soledad Barrio & Noche Flamenca

Please join the artists from Noche Flamenca for a flamenco class. This dance class will be an introduction to the corporal vocabulary of flamenco music and dance. We will dive into the technique of palmas (clapping), basic marking steps, footwork, upper body and arms and different types of turns used in flamenco. The class will be accompanied by a flamenco guitarist and/or singer.

This class is open to dancers at all experience levels. Please wear loose-fitting clothes for movement and hard-soled shoes. Community members are welcome.

This class is in conjunction with the April 8th performance with Soledad Barrio & Noche Flamenca.
