Each semester CoDa, Kusika, and the Zambezi Marimba Band explore creative ideas, choreography, and music led by the expert guidance of the Dance Department ensembles’ artistic directors. This spring, our end-of-semester PACHEDU concerts include finished, professionally staged, lit, and costumed dances with live music on the ’62 Center’s MainStage.  Please join us for these exciting performances which celebrate various genres: CoDa (Contemporary Dance Ensemble) will present Jane Dudley’s Time is Money (1934), and a contemporary duet created in response titled Skin to Bone. DANC 305/CoDa will present an original ballet titled Horizons set to music by Felix Mendelssohn. Kusika will present Nyithind Nam /Children of the Lake, Luo Dance, Kassa, and the Pan-African Band. The Zambezi Marimba Band performs music from Zimbabwe, the African Diaspora, and the world.

All are welcome!

Tickets: $3 (students)
