
Dance Dept: Ballet Variation workshop with dancer Duane Gosa

Gosa will teach a variation to class participants and discuss their own history with that particular role. This workshop will be held during the DANC 300/304 Advanced Ballet class time, but a small number of observers are also welcome — please contact Janine Parker at jmp2@williams.edu for more information.
The workshop is funded with support from the Lecture Committee and Dance Department individual faculty events/visitors allotments.
DUANE GOSA from Columbus, OH by way of Chicago, IL, has been working as a dance artist in NYC since 2008. After receiving a BFA in Dance from the University of Akron, Duane has had the opportunity to work with a variety of talented artists ranging in different styles of performance including Jennifer Muller/The Works, Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, Ballet22, Company XIV, The Love Show, New York City Opera, Touring production of AIDA, Brooklyn Ballet, and Gleich Dances to name a few. Currently, Duane is performing with Company XIV and was just recently named co-artistic director of Jennifer Muller/The Works.
