Come see the Urban Bush Women this week at WCMA
The Urban Bush Women are in residency at WCMA as part of partnership with the Williams College Dance Department, Think Large, Inc., in loving memory of Dr. Don Quinn Kelley, and our Berkshire-based Community Participants, exploring how their latest work, Haint Blu, can be produced in a museum context.
Everyone is invited to stop by and observe their rehearsals throughout the WCMA galleries from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. today and tomorrow and then 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
There is also still space in a community class, Dance for Every Body, to be held at 7 p.m. tonight at the ’62 Center. Register here.
And the campus community is warmly welcomed to two “sharings” at WCMA on Saturday: from 2-3 p.m. and 6-7 p.m. If you’re interested in attending one of these, please email Roz Crews at rc15@williams.edu.
