Chinese Music Ensemble

The Chinese Music Ensemble presents a concert filled with the vitality and rich variety of Chinese music performed by Williams students and faculty. The Chinese Music Ensemble, one of the department’s newest ensembles, performs traditional and contemporary pieces. The ensemble features such instruments as the zheng, erhu, yangqin, and zhongruan, and is usually focused on the Chinese sizhu genre of chamber music. The talented student performers are directed by Artist-in-Residence Wang Guowei.
