Williams Brass Ensemble, led by Travis Dobson and Steve Felix, features soloists and brass groups presenting the best in chamber brass music. The directors are also the principle arrangers for the group. The flexibility their arranging offers a huge range of possibilities, far beyond the limited stock material available to brass groups.
For this concert the Williams Brass Ensemble presents thrilling evening of iconic film and pop music from across the 20th and 21st centuries, all arranged for brass and performed by student and faculty brass musicians. Featured works include: John Williams’s timeless Main Title Theme to Star Wars, Ludwig Göransson’s theme to The Mandalorian, a suite from the DreamWorks film, How to Train Your Dragon, among many others!
