Berkshire Symphony Student Soloist Gala

Conducted by Ronald Feldman, this concert features performances by winners of the 2017 Berkshire Symphony Soloist Competition: harpist Anna DeLoi ’18 performs a movement from Glière’s Concerto for Harp and Orchestra. Joyce Lee ’17, piano, plays a movement from Saint-Saens Piano Concerto No. 2. Flutist Tiffany Sun ’18 interprets Ibert’s Flute Concerto. Vocalist Harold Theurer ’17, baritone, sings  Mozart, “Hai già vinta la causa,” from Marriage of Figaro.

Also on the program: Igor Stravinsky’s Firebird, and Coriolan Overture by Beethoven, conducted by Leonard Bopp ‘19.
