Environmental policy talk by Kate DeSormeau ’02, Senior Attorney and Managing Litigator at the Natural Resources Defense Fund and Mohammed Memfis ’21, Advisor in Environmental Practice at Waxman Strategies. Their talks will discuss case studies on the transition from fossil fuels, litigation to protect Bears Ears National Monument from oil and gas extraction, the Polluter Pays Climate Fund and clean energy legislation and controversies in Congress.
