Join us for a very special event at the Williams Bookstore on Thursday, November 14th at 4 pm. New York Times best-selling author Alexandra Horowitz will read from her latest book Our Dogs, Ourselves.  In this entertaining and accessible volume, Horowitz, who is head of Barnard College’s Dog Cognition Lab, examines the unique relationship that “scientists, ever unromantic, call… the ‘dog-human bond.’ ” She devotes different chapters to various aspects of this dog-human relationship
Horowitz is the author of three previous books, “Being a Dog: Following the Dog Into a World of Smell” (2016); “On Looking” (2013); and  “Inside of a Dog: What Dogs See, Smell, and Know” (2009), This event is free and open to the public and books will be on hand for sale and signing.
