Abstract:  There are ~10^300 possible conformations for an unfolded protein and finding the correct one using random sampling would take longer than the age of the universe.  How then do proteins fold on the order of a second?  In this talk I present a model of how a protein moves through this conformational space to find the correct structure in a reasonable amount of time.
