Reinhard Kleist is a Berlin-based graphic designer and illustrator and one of the most successful German comic authors of our times. He has published graphic novels on exceptional figures in politics, sports (Hertzko “Harry” Haft, Emile Griffith, Samia Yusuf Omar) and pop musicians (David Bowie, Johnny Cash, Nick Cave) among others. At Williams, Kleist will talk about his work as a comic author and discuss some of his critically acclaimed and award-winning graphic novels.
